When I was as young as you are, this legend was one of my favourite ones. It is an Irish legend. It is about two giants, Finn MacCool, who is Irish, and his enemy, a Scottish giant, Benandonner, The Red Man. Finn builds a causeway, which is a raised road or path across low or wet ground, to be able to get to the Scottish giants. Listen to the story to see what happens when the Red Man walks across the causeway to fight Finn.Look carefully at these pictures before you listen to the story. Do you think there are any true facts which the legend based itself on?
I am still enjoying the wonderful myths you wrote, 5B. What a fabulous job you have done! Here is one of the myths we read in class which inspired you to write yours. Once again, this one is a different version. It is delightful to listen. Just sit back and enjoy! Arachne the Spinner
Hello Everyone! I am so sorry that I have not been posting for so long! There have been so many things going on at school. We have worked really hard on our project on Ancient Greece and soon we will be able to see our results. I am specially enjoying the project on The Odyssey, aren't you? It is looking great!
Well today I came across this game which will also help you practice your pronouns. I hope you can do better than I did.
How good are you at popping balloons? But . . there is a trick. You must type the different words you can make with the letters on the balloons. Then press enter to make them pop! Careful, don't let them pile up!
